Terms of Reference

The secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is seeking for qualified contractor(s) to establish Long Term Agreement (LTAs) with successful bidder or bidders for the provision of Translation Services from English to five UN languages (French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic and Chinese) and vice versa. The contract/s will be covering translation of various UNFCCC official documents (i.e. EB summaries, press releases, promotional materials, case studies used in workshops, presentations used in workshops, CGE training materials and other documents as required) are produced and made available to the public/stakeholders (mainly via the UNFCCC website) into the above mentioned UN languages.

Detailed specifications will be provided as part of the Invitation to Bid, which will be issued after the closing date of this request for EOI.

The EOI should include a description of the company profile and details of relevant experience. However, such description shall be limited to 1-2 pages length. Please do not include copies of certifications at this stage. EOIs that do not contain the information requested for evaluation by UNFCCC may be rejected.
