As indicated during his press conference this afternoon, the Joint Special Representative for Syria, Mr. Lakhdar Brahimi, will hold talks with the two Syrian delegations tomorrow.

There will be no photo opportunity in the morning and the United Nations Information Service will not respond to queries or requests for technical support before 1 p.m.

The Joint Special Representative is expected to give a press conference late in the afternoon (to be confirmed).

Updates will be sent through email, uploaded on our website at www.unog.ch/news and twitted through @UNGeneva. In particular, we will inform about the possible press conference well in advance.

Room V will remain open throughout the weekend as workspace and overflow for any press conference.

Journalists in possession of a Montreux badge and not holding access magnetic cards will be able to enter the building through door 11 and 23. Access to the Palais will be authorized through the Pregny Gate by foot only.

The press bar on the ground floor will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Joint Special Representative for Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, will be meeting with the Syrian Arab Republic delegation at 11.00 a.m. and with the Syrian Opposition Delegation at 4.00 p.m. at the Palais des Nations, Geneva. Both meetings are private.

The Joint Special Representative should address the media at 5.30/6.00 p.m. in Room III (time to be confirmed). Journalists are requested to come to Room III at least one hour ahead of time for security checks.

There will be no filming allowed at arrivals.

Joint Special Representative for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi is meeting in Geneva this afternoon, bilaterally, with the Heads of the two Syrian delegations, Mr. Ahmed Jarba, and subsequently with Mr. Walid al Mouallem.
We will inform you of other meetings and/or press opportunities tomorrow.
Journalists accredited for the Conference can use Room V, where desks and Wi-fi are provided.
Press conferences, if any, will be held in Room III nearby.
