Celebrating International Women's Day (8 March)

WOMAN

French OV with English sbutitles

WOMAN is a global project by world-renowned photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand that gives voice to 2000 women in 50 different countries. The film was born of a desire to see the world through a woman’s eyes. Above all, it is a message of love and hope to all the women of the world, an attempt to understand their lives and to measure how far they have come and how far they still must go.

Join us after for a discussion on “Would the world be a better place if more women could decide?” with:
  • Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Photographer et co-director of the film
  • Michelle Bachelet, High-Commissioner for Human Rights (to be confirmed)

Moderation by Corinne Momal-Vanian, Director, Conference Management, UN Geneva

In partnership with the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Switzerland

With the support of the International Geneva Welcome Centre and Cinerama Empire
