How do women find their voices and become powerful speakers, and how do we create an organizational culture at the United Nations in which they are heard?

The mission of organisations such as the International Gender Champions and Women@TheTable is to enable women to participate fully in decision-making and support women as leaders on the way to achieving the global goal for gender equality. New platforms and programmes are emerging which focus on empowering women’s voices, increasing their ability to influence decisions and have greater impact.

Join us for this event and hear our experts talk about professional and public speaking, looking at gender perspectives and challenges, and making recommendations to elevate women’s voices, foster parity and organizational change.

Programme:

Introduction by Nicole Maguire, UNOG Gender Focal Point

Speakers
  • KC Baker, Women’s Thought Leadership Coach and Public Speaking Trainer
  • Caitlin Kraft-Buchman, Executive Director of Women@TheTable and co-founder, International Gender Champions Geneva
  • Thomas Neufing, Chief, Staff Development and Learning Section, UNOG
