The new Permanent Representative of the Republic of Botswana, H.E. Ms. Athaliah Lesiba Molokomme, presents her credentials to the Director-General.

The Director-General meets with the President of the Rule of Law & Anti-Corruption Center Geneva (ROLACC Geneva), H.E. Dr. Ali Bin Fetais Al Marri, who is also the Attorney General of the State of Qatar as well as the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Special Regional Advocate for the Prevention of Corruption.

The Director-General meets with the newly elected members of the UNOG Staff Coordinating Council.

The Director-General meets with Ms. Kiran Mehra-Kerpelman, the author of “Seven Decades and Beyond – The UN-India Connect”, which celebrates the 70th anniversary of the relationship between the United Nations and India.

The Director-General delivers welcoming remarks on the occasion of the Informal Thematic Session of the Global Compact on Migration on the topic of the “TOGETHER” campaign, which promotes respect, safety and dignity for refugees and migrants.

The Director-General delivers remarks at the opening of the “Art & Artisanat” exhibition organised by the United Nations Women’s Guild. During this annual event, the artistic talents of guild members are on display for the public.

The Director-General meets with Ms. Afshan Khan, UNICEF Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the Special Coordinator for the Refuge and Migrant Crisis in Europe.

The Director-General chairs a UNOG Executive Briefing with Mr. Ian Martin, Executive Director of the Security Council Report, to discuss the dynamics of the United Nations Security Council.

The Director-General delivers opening remarks at the book launch of Mr. John Kierulf’s book “Disarmament Under International Law”, an event organized by the United Nations Library.

The Director-General meets with Ms. Lynn St. Amour, Chair of the Internet Governance Forum’s Multistakeholder Group, and Mr. Chengetai Masango, Programme and Technology Manager at the Forum.

The Director-General participates in an interview on the Gender Champions initiative with the “Geneva Geeks Podcast”, an initiative of the Permanent Mission of the United States of America.

The Director-General meets with Mr. Etienne Eichenberger, CEO of WISE Philanthropy.

The Director-General meets with Ms. Martha Rojas-Urrego, Secretary General of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands.

The Director-General addresses the closing session of the Orientation Programme for new staff members organized by the UNOG Centre for Learning and Multilingualism.

The Director-General chairs a UNOG Executive Briefing with Dr. Hoesung Lee, Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, to discuss how the findings and work of the IPCC underpins climate policy and supports the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The new Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Swaziland, H.E. Mr. Zwelethu Mnisi, presents his credentials to the Director-General.
