The Director-General delivers welcoming remarks at the launch of the book “Indispensable UN”, written by Ambassador Jean-Marc de la Sablière, a former French diplomat.

The Director-General meets with H.E. Ms. Veronika Bard, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Sweden to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva to discuss the International Gender Champions Initiative.

On the occasion of the Universal Children’s Day, children, including the French musical group ‘Kids United’, symbolically take over the Director-General’s Office.

The Director-General delivers remarks at the opening of the 2017 United Nations Women’s Guild Bazaar at UNOG. The proceeds of the Bazaar and its lottery will be used to support educational projects for disadvantaged children worldwide.

The Director-General is interviewed by Ms. Catherine Fiankan-Bokonga, correspondent of France 24 and Vice-President of the Association of Accredited Correspondents to the UN (ACANU).

The Director-General meets with Ms. Christine Löw, the recently appointed Head of the Geneva Liaison Office of UN Women to discuss collaboration between UNOG and UN Women.

The Director-General meets with H.E. Mr. Thomas Hajnoczi, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Austria to the United Nations Office and other specialized institutions in Geneva.

The Director-General meets with Ms. Annie Augier, Vice-President of Iddest, an audit and training firm.

The Director-General meets with Ms. Laura Thompson, Deputy General of the International Organization for Migration.

The Director-General attends the ceremony of the 2017 Prize for Innovation in Global Security, awarded by the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP).

The Director-General delivers remarks during the XIVth UNOG-DCAF Seminar on “Leveraging SDG 16 to Improve Implementation of SDG 5”.

The new Permanent Representative of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mr. Ramses Joseph Cleland, presents his credentials to the Director-General.
