The Director-General meets with Ms. Gabriela Gandel, Executive Director of the Impact Hub Network, and with Mr. Felix Staehli, Co-founder of the Impact Hub Geneva.

The Director-General makes welcoming remarks at an event with Ms. Beatrice Fihn, Executive Director of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapon (ICAN), laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize 2017.

The Director-General meets with H.E. Mr. Vaqif Sadiqov, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva.

The Director-General meets with Mr. Robert Singer, Chief Executive Officer of the World Jewish Congress (WJC) and Ms. Lauren Rose, WJC Representative to the United Nations in Geneva.

The Director-General attends the Graduate Institute Award Ceremony for the student contest “The Geneva Challenge – Advancing Development Goals International Student Competition”, aiming at stimulating reflection and innovation on development.

The new Permanent Representative of Mexico, H.E. Ms. María del Socorro Flores Liera, presents her credentials to the Director-General.

The Director-General delivers remarks at the cultural activity “Entre deux rives”, an exhibition organized by the Permanent Mission of Tunisia to the United Nations Office at Geneva.

The Director-General delivers welcoming remarks and participates in the panel discussion on “Multilateralism in question: which consequences for international Geneva?”, organized on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Swiss Forum for International Affairs.

The Director-General delivers a speech at a reception to thank the volunteers at the Appia migrant accommodation center, an event organized by the Hospice General.

The Director-General meets with H.E. Ms. Marta Maurás Perez, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Chile to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva.

The Director-General delivers remarks at the round table discussion on “The evolution of international careers – the contribution of academia”, jointly organized by the the United Nations Office at Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. He later delivers remarks at the opening of an exhibition on the same topic.

The Director-General delivers a speech to mark the transit of a caravan of electric cars on Place des Nations. The caravan has travelled from Marrakech, the city hosting the UN Climate Change Conference COP22, and is moving on to Bonn, the host city of COP23.
