About the event
The Permanent Mission of Romania presents an exhibition consisting of artworks--including paintings, sculptures and photographs--made by artists who represent the ethnic minorities in Romania. The exhibition was initiated by The Interethnic Camp of Contemporary Art, with the purpose of integrating the different ethnic cultures of Romania through an art camp. As the activity saw widespread success, the Camp partnered with the non-governmental organization Inter-Art Foundation in Aiud, with the goal of transmiting a message of unity, understanding and respect among the country’s ethnic groups.
The exhibition highlights the multi-cultural principles and customs that characterize Romania. The works aims to engage audiences in both a cultural and social manner, allowing them to interpret the country’s diverse folklore and most importantly, feel the power of inclusion.
