Publications on the Palais des Nations

Two recent books provide detailed information about the architecture and history of the Palais des Nations and the extensive art collection it contains.

Histoire et architecture du Palais des Nations (1924-2001), written by Jean-Claude Pallas, former Chief of the Buildings and Engineering Section at UNOG, describes in detail the architectural history of the Palais des Nations.

La représentation de l’humanité (2001), by Anneleen de Jong, former Cultural Activities Coordinator at UNOG, contains an exhaustive presentation of the art collection at UNOG.

These books are available at the UNOG bookshop located at Palais des Nations (see map) or may be ordered on line.
