Practical Information


Delegates must register in advance through the secretariat of the conference to which they have been invited. Security identification badges are delivered upon provision of an accreditation request duly approved by the secretariat of the conference. 

Delegates may collect their security identification badges at the Pass and Identification Unit at the following address:

A badge will only be issued upon presentation of a valid identification document recognized by the UN, i.e. a passport issued by a State recognized by the UN General Assembly or an ID card issued by a Schengen Member State.

The office is open from Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
The office is closed on weekends and during official holidays.

Please note that Pregny Gate is 500 m away from the Place des Nations.


A taxi stand is located in front of the Pregny Gate.

Private Vehicles (for members of permanent missions only)

Delegates may drive to the Palais des Nations and park their vehicles in the parking lots in the compound, provided they have been delivered a parking sticker.

Parking stickers are issued upon written request from the permanent missions. They can be collected from the Pass and Identification Unit of the Security and Safety Section at the Pregny Gate at the same time as the delegates’ security identification badges.

Please note that delegates can access the Palais des Nations as of 7.30 a.m.
