Terms of Reference
The Procurement Section of the United Nations Office at Vienna (PS/UNOV) will be issuing a tender for the provision of Firearms Training Simulation System.
The System should be an in-door virtual firing range. It is not a live fire system and does not require the purchase of any live ammunition and / or firearms. The System is a simulator that offers law enforcment weapons training without the risk of live fire.
The required virtual training range will be used to train CNPA (Counter Narcotics Police of Afghanistan) officers at CNTA (Counter Narcotics Training Academy) in firearms handling, safefy and accuracy in a safe controlled environment.
In this connection, the United Nations Office at Vienna is requesting expressions of interest from qualifed comapanies.
Please be advised that this EOI does not constitute a solicitation. It should also be noted that the United Nations reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement at any time.
Full details of the Specifiation of this requisition will be issued when the tender document is raised after the closing date of this Request of Expression of Interest.
Please note that this is not an invitation for submission of a bid. This is a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) in order to identify qualified vendors interested in participating in the solicitation.
Interested vendors must provide the completed Vendor Response Form (attached below). UNOV will examine this EOI and reserves the right to select the invitees for competitive bidding. Accordingly, an expression of interest does not automatically warrant an interested vendor's participation in the competitive bidding exercise.
UNOV reserves the right to change or cancel any of this requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.
