Terms of Reference

The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) is seeking additional network (LAN/MAN) and IPT (VoIP) technical support consultants to complement the operations of its current Network Services Team (NST) within the Infrastructure Management Unit (IMU) of the Information Communication and Technology Service (ICTS), UNOG. The additional resources provided through this tender will be integrated into the current Network Services Team and work under the supervision of the Chief of the UNOG/ICTS/IMU/NST team.

The United Office at Geneva intends to launch an Invitation to Bid on 23 March 2012 in order to award two contracts for the provision of technical support services for (i) the network (LAN/MAN) and (ii) the IPT (VoIP) environment. The Bid submission date is planned on 4 May 2012 and the contracts awards by 19 June 2012 to the lowest technically acceptable bidders in each category (i.e. one contract for network technical support consultant and another contract for IPT (VoIP) technical support consultant.

The receipt of the services from the contractors is set to commence as of 15 July 2012 for an initial contract period of two years, with the option to renew the contracts for a maximum period of five years on an annual basis at the sole discretion of the UNOG.
