The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) operates a programme called the IT Equipment and Furniture Donation Programme to permanent missions, permanent oberver offices and NGOs.
Through this programme, UNOG supports IT equipment and furniture donation requests. When available, the Central Support Services donate the returns from UNOG’s IT Replacement Programme.

How to apply?
Permanent missions, permanent observer offices and NGOs interested in computer equipment and furniture should submit their requests by letter on an official letterhead paper signed by the Chief of Mission / NGO to the following address:

The Central Support Services will treat the requests received on a first come first served basis. When the equipment requested is available, permanent missions, permanent observer offices and NGOs will be informed as to when they can collect it from Dock 49 at UNOG.
Upon withdrawal of the equipment, permanent missions, permanent observer offices and NGOs will sign and date a form confirming that they have taken the equipment. Through the form, the transfer of property will be effective and UNOG will be relieved from obligations and liabilities.
Q: Approximately how old are the donated PCs?
A: PCs are in average 5 years old.
Q: Could we request for more than 10 desktop PCs, 10 Flat screen monitors,3 printers and 3 scanners?
