", Ciné-ONU, in collaboration with the Graduate Institute and the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations in Geneva, revisit this movie classic starring Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley in the title role, or see it for the first time. Gandhi
is the 1982 epic biographical film that dramatises the life of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the leader of India's non-violent, non-cooperative independence movement against the United Kingdom's rule of the country during the 20th century.
The screening will be preceded by a panel debate, Peaceful Resistance for Enduring Global Justice
