The Joint Special Representative is currently meeting with the government's delegation. He will subsequently meet with the delegation of the opposition.

Kindly note that the accreditations provided for the first round of the discussions, as part of the Geneva Conference on Syria launched in Montreux on 22 January 2014, will expire today. Badges provided within this framework will no longer be accepted. Journalists wishing to cover the second round of the discussions will need to seek accreditation again.
