Press conference by the Joint Special Representative
At 4.50 p.m.
The Joint Special Representative for Syria will address the media at 5.30 p.m. (time tbc) in Room III. The conference will be available on webcast at webtv.un.org
At 4.20 p.m.
The trilateral meeting between Joint Special Representative Lakhdar Brahimi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Gennady Gatilov and United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman has started.
The Joint Special Representative will address the press in Room III after the meeting, at a time to be confirmed.
At 1.40 p.m.
The meeting of the Joint Special Representative with the two delegations has adjourned for today.
The Joint Special Representative will not give a press conference today , but is expected to talk to the press tomorrow after the trilateral meeting with Mr. Gatilov and Ms. Sherman.
At 11.40 a.m.
The Joint Special Representative is meeting this morning with the two delegations simultaneously.
Earlier today, he met with Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Gennady Gatilov. The trilateral meeting with Mr. Gatilov and Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman of the United States will now take place on Thursday 13 February in the afternoon.

this afternoon, the Joint Special Representative for Syria, Mr. Lakhdar Brahimi, will hold talks with the two Syrian delegations tomorrow.
There will be no photo opportunity in the morning and the United Nations Information Service will not respond to queries or requests for technical support before 1 p.m.
The Joint Special Representative is expected to give a press conference late in the afternoon (to be confirmed).

Room V will remain open throughout the weekend as workspace and overflow for any press conference.
Journalists in possession of a Montreux badge and not holding access magnetic cards will be able to enter the building through door 11 and 23. Access to the Palais will be authorized through the Pregny Gate by foot only.
The press bar on the ground floor will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Joint Special Representative for Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, will be meeting with the Syrian Arab Republic delegation at 11.00 a.m. and with the Syrian Opposition Delegation at 4.00 p.m. at the Palais des Nations, Geneva. Both meetings are private.
The Joint Special Representative should address the media at 5.30/6.00 p.m. in Room III (time to be confirmed). Journalists are requested to come to Room III at least one hour ahead of time for security checks.
There will be no filming allowed at arrivals.
