Press conference by the Joint Special Representative

The Joint Special Representative for Syria will address the media at 5.30 p.m. (time tbc) in Room III. The conference will be available on webcast at webtv.un.org
At 4.20 p.m.
The trilateral meeting between Joint Special Representative Lakhdar Brahimi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Gennady Gatilov and United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman has started.
The Joint Special Representative will address the press in Room III after the meeting, at a time to be confirmed.

Badges provided within this framework will no longer be accepted. Journalists wishing to cover the second round of the discussions will need to seek accreditation again. There will be a press conference by Mr. Faisal Makdad, Deputy Foreign Minister of Syria, immediately after the press conference by the Joint Representative for Syria, in Room III, ie at approximately 6.15 p.m.
