The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) operates a programme called the IT Equipment and Furniture Donation Programme to permanent missions, permanent oberver offices and NGOs.
Through this programme, UNOG supports IT equipment and furniture donation requests. When available, the Central Support Services donate the returns from UNOG’s IT Replacement Programme.
Who can request for this programme?
Permanent missions, permanent observer offices and NGOs in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) or affiliated with the Department of Public Information are eligible to request for IT equipment through this programme.
What can be donated through this programme?
UNOG offers a maximum of 10 desktops or laptops, 10 flat screen monitors, 3 printers and 3 scanners per donation request.
All requests for equipment that exceed the maximum will need to be approved by the UNOG Property Survey Board.
Requests for furniture will be considered on an ad hoc basis and according to availability.
