BWC Compendium of National Approaches to Disease Surveillance, Detection, Diagnosis, and Containment of Infectious Diseases (including efforts to Build Capacity)
This page provides information on national approaches to disease surveillance, detection, diagnosis, and containment of infectious diseases (including efforts to build capacity). The details were provided to the Implementation Support Unit by States Parties. It was created as a resource for the 2009 meetings of the BWC.
In his letters to States Parties, the Chair of the 2009 meetings stressed the value of States Parties making available the details of their national disease surveillance, mitigation and response arrangements. He was sure that many states will opt to include details of such arrangements in the working papers, statements and presentations made throughout the year. Details of such national arrangements will be added to this page as and when they become available.
