The Preparatory Committee of the Seventh Review Conference was held in the Palais des Nations from 13 to 15 April 2011. It was chaired by Ambassador Paul van den IJssel of the Netherlands. The Preparatory Committee prepared the way for the Seventh Review Conference of the Biological Weapons Convention which is due to be held in Geneva from 5 to 22 December 2011.

The Preparatory Committee concluded its work on 14 April and adopted its report by consensus.
