The Director-General met Mr. Walter B. Gyger, newly appointed President of the Diplomatic Club of Geneva.

The Director-General met Mr. Yury Fedotov, Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and Director-General of the United Nations Office in Vienna (UNOV).

The Director-General met Mr. Jean-Dominique Vassalli, Rector of the University of Geneva. Areas of continued partnership between UNOG and the University, including in language and interpretation services and outreach activities were discussed.

The Director-General met Ms. Sahle-Work Zewde, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) to review the ongoing working relationship between UNOG and UNON.

The Director-General attended a reception in hosted by Mr. He Yafei, Permanent Representative of China, on the occasion of his forthcoming departure from Geneva.
