UNOG - UNITAR Seminars - Geneva Lecture Series







The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) have the pleasure to announce that the 9th edition of the Geneva Lecture Series will be held at the Human Rights and Alliance of Civilizations Room (Room XX) of the Palais des Nations on 21 April 2016 from 4pm to 6pm. The conference is open to Member States, international and regional organizations and civil society.

The 9th edition of the Geneva Lecture Series will be hosted by the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva Mr. Michael Møller and the Executive Director of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research Mr. Nikhil Seth. The event will consist of a panel discussion with the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet and will be followed by an interactive debate with the public. Those wishing to attend the Geneva Lecture Series are invited to register online between 13 March and 13 April 2016 at http://www.unog.ch/gls. The conference will be broadcast live at http://webtv.un.org/.

Kindly note that registration for this event is obligatory. The conference is free of charge and simultaneous interpretation will be provided in French, English and Arabic. Participants without an access badge to the Palais des Nations are required to bring a photo ID and arrive by 1:30 PM at the Pregny-Gate.
