United Nations Holocaust Memorial Ceremony

On the occasion of the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, the United Nations Office at Geneva will host an official ceremony followed by a musical performance by the German Radio Orchestra, the Misgav Hagalil Choir, and the Bayreuth Zamir Choir.
During the ceremony, Mr. Elie Buzyn, 87 years old Holocaust survivor from Łódź, Poland, will give a keynote address. Mr. Buzyn lives in Paris, France, where he studied medicine and worked as an orthopedic surgeon. The French National Audio-Visual Institute has his testimony about surviving the ghetto and concentration camps, including Auschwitz.
