In the lead-up to World Hepatitis Day – 28 July – the World Health Organization (WHO) is calling on countries to strengthen measures against viral hepatitis. At this briefing, WHO expert Dr Stefan Wiktor will discuss what countries are doing, and what is needed to ensure that this “silent killer” is not ignored.
