Interactive Discussion Panel
On Thursday 26 August 2010, from 15.00 to 16,00 (here in Geneva) the Meeting of Experts held a discussion panel on "scientific and technological advances relevant to responding to alleged use of biological weapons". The panel included some of the worlds pre-eminent experts in a variety of relevant fields. They explored issues of interest to them (e.g. Randy Murch explored an International Microbial Forensics Capability). For the first time, a meeting of the BWC took questions over the internet (via Twitter) which were then posed to panelists. The event was streamed, live, back over the internet (via uStream: http://www.ustream.tv/user/bwcisu).
