Director-General Participates in Launch of United Nations Handbook
2 October 2013
The Director-General participated in the launch of the UN Handbook, organized by the Government of New Zealand. Published since 1961, the UN Handbook is a comprehensive guide to the Organization, summarizing all United Nations organizations and providing information about their aims, structures and membership. The Handbook is traditionally launched in New York in the margins of the General Assembly. This event represents the first formal launch in Geneva (in addition to New York).
