Director-General Represents UN Secretary-General at Opening of 66th World Health Assembly

The Director-General represented the Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at the opening of the 66th World Health Assembly, held at the UN Office at Geneva. In his message, the Secretary-General highlighted that although the Millennium Development Goals have undoubtedly been good for global health, we must build on what has been achieved and address other pressing health challenges such as non-communicable diseases.
