Director-General Participates in International Seminar on “Assessing the prospects for the implementation of Article VI of the NPT”

The Director-General participated in an international seminar on “Assessing the prospects for the implementation of Article VI of the “Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT)”. He stressed that disarmament is at the core of the United Nations’ efforts for the maintenance of international peace and security and highlighted the key role a revitalized Conference on Disarmament would play in achieving these goals.
