Director-General Opens “United We Count” Exhibition

The Director-General opened the exhibition entitled "United, We Count", organized by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He noted the human and environmental consequences of decades of nuclear testing in Kazakhstan and the significance of the presidential decree which closed the Semipalatinsk test ground. He expressed his appreciation to the Government of Kazakhstan, the ATOM Project and the Nazarbayev Center for bringing awareness to the grave consequences of nuclear testing and promoting nuclear responsibility, disarmament and non-proliferation around the world.
