Acting Director-General Meets with Permanent Representative of Australia, President of the Governing Council of the United Nations Compensation Commission

The Acting Director-General met with H.E. Mr. Peter Woolcott, Permanent Representative of Australia to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva and President of the Governing Council of the United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC). The UNCC is a subsidiary organ of the United Nations Security Council. It was established by the Security Council in 1991 to develop procedures for granting compensation for losses resulting from Iraq's invasion and occupation of Kuwait.
