Director-General Opens UNOG Library Talk "Linguistic Rights and Duties in the Evolution of Public Laws"

The Director-General opened the UNOG Library Talk "Linguistic Rights and Duties in the Evolution of Public Laws". He highlighted that the protection of the languages of minority groups was essential to safeguarding the human rights of these groups, and was an integral part of the United Nations work not only in human rights, but also sustainable development and peace and security.
