Director-General Participates in Opening Session of First Committee of the United Nations General Assembly

In his capacity as Secretary-General of the Conference on Disarmament and Personal Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General to the Conference, the Director-General participated in the opening session of the Disarmament and International Security, or First Committee, of the United Nations General Assembly, which deals with disarmament and related international security questions.
