Director-General Welcomes New Inspectors from Joint Inspection Unit of UN System

The Director-General met with five newly-elected inspectors from the Joint Inspection Unit (JIU) and welcomed them to the United Nations Office at Geneva. The JIU is the only independent external oversight body of the United Nations system mandated to conduct evaluations, inspections and investigations system-wide.
