Director-General Opens Exhibition of Images of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Italy

The Director-General opened an exhibition which showcased 43 UNESCO World Heritage sites located in Italy. He highlighted the significance of the UNESCO Convention concerning the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage and stressed that recognizing our common heritage - as well as our interdependence with nature and with each other - is an important part of meeting our sustainable development goals.
