Director-General Meets President-designate of Biological Weapons Convention Conference

The Director-General met with Mr. Paul van den IJssel, President-designate of the Seventh Review Conference of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), which will take place at the Palais des Nations from 5 December to 22 December 2011 to review the 15 articles of the Convention. The discussion touched on the challenges in implementation of the Convention and the expected focus on the Review Conference.
