Director-General Opens General Assembly of Students’ League of Nations

The Director-General opened the General Assembly of the International School of Geneva’s Students' League of Nations (SLN). He highlighted the focus of the United Nations on a number of issues discussed by the students, including human rights, women’s empowerment and Security Council reform. While noting the many global challenges for youth, he also spoke to their potential for innovation and change, especially when used for the common good.
