The Director-General opened a seminar on "Inclusiveness at the heart of peacebuilding: limits and opportunities", organized jointly by UNOG, Interpeace and the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform to mark the International Day of Peace. He highlighted opportunities for greater inclusiveness in peacebuilding, including: focusing on the protection and promotion of human rights in peace agreements; supporting the inclusion of women and youth in processes; and promoting a broad application of the concept of inclusiveness.
